Bruce Thacker, the President of Bruce's Heating & Cooling in Panama City Beach, FL, has been involved in the construction industry in some form or another since he was big enough to hand his General Contractor dad a hammer. What started as a temporary move in 1980 to the "World's Most Beautiful Beaches" to help his dad develop his investment property by building a motel and 24 townhouses ended up being a permanent home with his family running the finished venture.
From Construction to HVAC Contractor
Not one to sit behind the desk but instead one who built the desk, Bruce was itching to get back into construction. Already a Journeyman Electrician and Journeyman Plumber with extensive knowledge of everything involved in building, from – permitting and breaking ground to final inspection and obtaining the Certificate of Occupancy, he decided HVAC was what he wanted to do.

As his children grew, his 14-year-old son was also interested in following in his dad's footsteps. Over the years, both Bruce and his son have built a strong, loyal client base across the states of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas.
